I am pretty sure, and have been for months, that the deep state never thought that they would actually have to inaugurate these two clowns. There is a reason that they were considered by many to be "throwaway candidates".

Keep in mind that they were running the Color Revolution Playbook. They were expecting that Trump would roll in with tanks and swat teams and take his 2nd term by force. Literally the only thing that they were supposed to need Joe and Kamala to do is refuse to concede and say that Trump is being an evil dictator. The media would take it from there. Civil war ensues, the military splits openly into factions, eventually things get bad enough to excuse foreign intervention. At that point it is game over.

Trump surprised them when he walked away peacefully just as much as he surprised us. It was, I truly believe, the only scenario for which they had not planned. When he does make his move, it will be with the overwhelming majority of the public behind him, and those remaining will not care enough to risk themselves to defend the potato and the whore (and the witch, if we do end up getting that "change of batter")
