Same in this community, though. The revisionist history has already started with people saying "Oh yeah I knew it was a lie from the start." No. No you did not. No one knew the severity of COVID until the data started pouring in. Before then, it was anyone's guess.
Now, if you were one of the people who said, "this'll just give them an excuse to take freedom away" Then yes, you were correct in that regard, but again only as correct at the available data to weigh it against. Until then, it was just an assumption.
Point being, don't lie to yourself to save face. You may think it's not a big deal, but when you embark on the path of deception, it will creep into all aspects of your life. The idea of white lies should be to avoid them at all costs. Instead the concept of "white lie" has blown up into an excuse. Just don't lie. Period.
MANY MANY of us knew it was a lie from the start.
This idea nobody knew is idiotic and arrogant.
These people told us years ago they were going to do this, ran the simulations and had conferences about it all over the world.
The only thing you had to do to know it was a lie was listen.
