Anyone have any idea how/why this was possible (if trading wasn’t suspended, ya boy woulda had like half a TRIL! Kek WTF!?)??

Maybe try a bit later. It sounds like they're trying to solve it now. When your coins are on an exchange, you don't own them. For the future, you can store your crypto on a ledger Nano X.
