"Early warning system" that's completely ignored by the people that are supposed to be paying attention to it.

It's hard when it's politicized and corrupted.

There was a post here about a year ago that was telling people to flood VAERS with BS reports so people would "see the truth," after that the CDC started ignoring the system and focusing on their own testing.
