I have been in the same exact scenario as you for the last 8 months. Stay vocal, but professional.

I've made it clear i don't appreciate being treated like cattle in the workplace, especially while I've been coming into the office through this whole deal and every one else has used covid as an excuse to fuck off at home.

I do understand why our owner would implement from a liability standpoint, and thankfully he's done everything in his power to avoid mandates on vaccine and didn't rush to judgement on the over 100 employee deal. I have a lot of respect for our founder and owner so this is one place I've fallen in line on the masks.

That said, if we continue to worry about this virus without looking at the statistics and just blindly follow the CDC we aren't actually doing anything other than checking a box. So I politely informed them if this goes on too long I will find other opportunities and I know I'm not alone.

I've put them on notice and will stay aware of how things go. Between the psycho maskers and anti maskers, well let's say they know which ones hurt the business more should they leave...... And it's not the ones who freak out about somebody not wearing a mask.

It takes bravery to stand up for your rights. Your rights are yours; they are inalienable. That word means they can't be taken away. You can only give them away.

You have the right to be at your place of work. It may not be the same level of right as your right to not subject yourself to a medical process (mask), but it is a legal right nonetheless. They do have the legal right to make you go home, but they have to fire you to do it (unless there is some other legal clause in your contract for medical discrimination, which is unlikely). If they fire you, you have the legal right to sue the holy fuck out of them.

It is your choice to take part in that medical experiment (three is no data that supports mask use, the CDC itself says so). It is your choice to not give in to tyranny. It is your right to be Free.

Freedom however, is not free. It can carry a cost of social discrimination and ridicule. It can even carry the cost of death (though that is extremely unlikely in this case).

For me personally, I would not go home, but the choice, as a free person, is yours.

I know its different in an office setting but fwiw I live in a blue controlled city that has stupid mandate, still. I am sometimes literally the only person in stores without one, and its odd. But not once has anyone questioned me, if anything, some strat tugging on their mask or lowering to chin. So I realized, I think, that posted policies are just corps playing the game, but so many do NOT care and are more over it than it seems.

Id say do what your convictions and conscience says to do, and above all do as unto the Lord and He will have your back.
