Socialism is a wealth preservation program for the elite.

Socialism is the de facto economic system for a ruling class ... recently, we've seen it used by communists and fascists. Throughout history, we've seen what basically amounts to socialism used by monarchs, dictatorships, and other single payer/single ruler systems.

The elite likes to spend everyone's wealth but their own. The problem they have is that, eventually, people get sick of their theft. That usually leads to revolution or an exodus from the country/region ruled by these lazy, worthless scumbags. Their plans implode and they start over.

This time around, the elite seems to have addressed the whole revolution/exodus problem. Through the magic of TV and entertainment industries, they've managed to get enough people to side with them and put this planet on a crash course for a single payer/single ruler system. They've generated enough apathy so that those not directly on their side couldn't care less what unfolds so long as they have the illusion of security (they think security = liberty ... thank a public school teacher for that mentality). They can manage those that can see their ways by making them a form of "untouchable" thanks to this fucking virus scam (most of these people are us).

Overall, they've made it so that there is nowhere to escape and start over. It's been that way for a while now. We are nearing the end of the phase where they work to prevent anyone from fighting back. Once they've seized all power, they'll make sure they handle any threat of revolution by killing off that overflow of 6.5 billion souls so that they arrive at their manageable 500M number ... you know, just enough slaves so that they can continue to live their life of decadence. They all want to be like Bernie Sanders on steroids ... accomplish nothing yet have it all ... work is for the slaves ... talk and luxury is for the elite.

This is why socialism is sickening. It's nothing more than wealth preservation for people that feel that they're the be all end all of humanity. All they know is lying, stealing, cheating, and killing. They produce NOTHING for humanity. Those responsible for this $226 trillion dollars worth of debt couldn't care less about it. They caused this by spending all of other people's money then mortgaged the equity produced by the free world. They never risk their ill gotten wealth. They want it all to implode as soon as possible so that they can accelerate the whole "6.5B excess people" problem. They only need global debt to be large enough so that everything implodes while they hold what remains.
