Merry Christmas frens.

Each day between now and New Years Eve, I will be creating two threads, One will be for a secular favorite, and one for a holy carol. I will title each thread with name of the song, and link in the first post, what I consider to be a fantastic version of that specific song.

I would LOVE for you all to share a version of the same song as a reply to that song's thread, so that we can each individually compile a nice list of Christmas songs we love, to pull out in seasons to come.

BUT DON'T SHARE THE LINK HERE, THIS IS THE SUGGESTION TREAD

This thread is where you can make a case for any song you would like me to build a thread for. I don't want to be a dictator on this, only a coordinator. And though I know this next request will fail, I want to implore you all to not request different songs into any single song thread. Request them in this thread and just wait... two songs per day will total 28 songs... we'll probably swing along into your favorite eventually.

Lastly, on New Years Eve the thread will be a free for all for us all to post our favorite Christmas songs that got missed.

I will be checking this thread regularly, to update the following list. As I update, it will include every suggestion you all make (I hope I dont miss any) And no need to post the actual link to the song yet, just the name will do for now. your song will probably get its own dedicated thread that everyone can contribute to. (I just know this part will be a mess, lol, but freedom is messy)

On New years day, in between cleaning all my guns (NYD tradition for me), I will compile a comprehensive thread of ALL of the links. Wish me luck on that one. The final product will be that we will all have access to 10-15 versions of each song in a somewhat logically laid out single place, that we can come back to in years to come. (I will probably create a youtube and/or spotify play list for the whole thing and share it here as well.)
