Dear frens, please pray for my sister Petra. I am sad and have been doing everything to help her, but without good outcome.
She is mentally ill, living in her own flat, but not able to realise that she needs more help. Probably the contract for the flat will be cancelled because she is not able to maintain it in good shape.
Due to her mental state she does not realise the chaos, waste in her flat and is unfortunately also not able to maintain her health or hygiene.
Due to our laws she can decide for herself (which normally is a good thing), because nobody including herself is in danger (suizide or an attack to others). She is now living in really bad hygenic, unhealthy conditions and I am living 300 km far away, for some days I am now at her side and can only do small things which will be gone tomorrow eventually due to her mental state.
Due to Corona and all things we know about hospitals and care homes, it is not a good way to sent her there and she does not want to leave the flat neither. She wants to live alone, but is not able to do it. I am very sad and feel really helpless, already praying.
Please pray for improvement of her physical, mental health, heavenly support and protection to find a better living for her. (perhaps also praying regarding posession through demons/negative forces)
Thank you very much and God bless and protect you all!
Praying for her and all such lost souls. You don't say how old she is, if she is demented with age-- that makes some difference in her needs, but it is always a good time to stay out of institutions. I had someone who was demented and also anxious and combative and a hoarder who took any attempt to clean up as an attempt to steal her valuable trash. That was resolved by moving her to a family with a big house who had a spare room and fed her. Her mother had been the same way and had someone come in daily at the end. Both of them benefited from a little Bible reading and hugs. Finding such a caregiver, even part time for cleaning, is the best solution I can think of.
Thank you for your prayers, especially that you include all - there are so many who are lost and all alone!
She is 58 and does not want to go into an institution. She loves living on her own, but in the last months it has become worse due to the fact that she has denied one of her meds, which is a heavy one.
I so wish she would find a very good doctor who could find the right meds for her.
The story that you are telling about the demented one sounds very like my sister with the difference that it is due to her mental illness. And this story is very heartwarming and helps me to believe in humanity again. That family that housed them and cared for them are really big caregivers with a big loving heart.
