it's just the standard officer eagle device for the dress cap... the USAF is the same except its not gold. I thought someone had found something new...
Just wait till you start finding out about the clouds and lightning bolts on the bill of the USAF officer's caps.....LOL
anyways...not meaning to be mean... I just thought someone caught something....DOH!!!
ps - did you know the TV show Battlestar galactica used the US Army Military Intelligence collar device for the Colonial warriors?... Yep...they just turned them upside down......Is my Geek showing?
Reminds me of the Kraken. Looks pretty normal, eagle with 2 feet and wings, holding a bundle of arrows in one hand and a sprig of something in the other. Army officer's cap insignia.
War (arrows) and Peace (olive branch). General George S. Patton believed that war and peace were two sides of the same coin. To ensure one (peace) you must always be prepared for the other (war). The main mission of the military is peace through superior firepower and doctrine. If peace cannot be maintained, then the mission is to wage total warfare against ALL enemies, foreign AND domestic.

These guys came in during Trump's first inauguration at the start, then left after being behind him for just a short while.
I tried looking everywhere and I cannot find out where those hat emblems of the enlarged head on an eagle body are from.
It must be significant.
These guys also bowed their head during a prayer.
Edit: Looks like it's just an optical illusion. See Vindman photos below. It's the Army service Cap emblem but looks weird at a distance.
I do not recognize it. If someone e figures this out I think it's significant.
has anyone ever tried to identify the specific individuals? Names, ranks, etc?
It’s nothing special, just Army Officer cap badge https://www.priorservice.com/arcapofba.html

The same emblem can be found on Colonel Vindman's hat. http://www.franklincountyvapatriots.com/2019/12/10/colonel-vindman-as-ukrainian-asset/

Never been in the military, but it's called 'cover', not a hat.
