Anything or anyone who has this much reach would be outed, humiliated, and/or dead by now. There's no way in hell almost 5000 posts were allowed to happen if they had any way to stop it. No way in hell. Logic 101. Come on, man!

but they don't control the information available. They control big tech, they don't control the entirety of the internet
They control the Q drops and that is what we consider to be dogma. That is a lot of power
the drops that say research yourself? Why would they say that? It doesn't make sense
To remove doubt knowing that there is no really way to do research. You can search the internet to read research that others have done, you can read the Q drops which you trust as gospel, but really what research have you done that does not involve trusting another unknown source? Have you yourself interviewed Trump? Have you yourself done a code review on the dominion voting machines? Have you yourself been granted top secret clearance to evaluate military files and compare them to what you assume is true? If you have not gone to primary sources yourself, then you are not doing research, you are repeating the research of others. Telling you to “do your own research” gives a false sense of security that you can trust the source. Con tactics 101
I don't have military files, but I've read most of the George Magazines, and they're full of Q clues. does that meet your 'source' criteria?
you sound like someone that has done no research on anything. I don't trust anything like the Gospel except the Gospel. It's hard to explain years of research and experiences in a message. I was never the type to try and decode every Q drop. But, when I saw one with information I hadn't seen, only to have it proven true weeks or months into the future, I knew that Q wasn't a dude in his basement.
As for specific research, there is info to be found, sometimes even in msm. You can learn a lot by looking at multiple sources on all sides of something, there is truth to glean.
I have read many medical journal studies on the efficacy or lack thereof of cloth and medical face masks. Early into covid I took death data from CDC website, and statistically analyzed and compared it to years pays by state and by month.
Those are some examples. But research can be done in many ways. You simply take data in from as many sources as possible, use logic to form your opinion. I would say some research gets to the point where I would call it fact, other topics are educated theories.
But, if you haven't done these things I am sure you think research is simply reading an article on zerohedge or TGP. I agree that is not research, that is reading and trusting your source.
