Weird story. My best friend ordered ivermectin and the Zpack to her house in Florida. In just under a month it arrived from India and she has it in hand,
A week later, the US Drug Administration (is that even a real agency?) wrote her a two-page letter dated December 3 telling her her package was confiscated and would be destroyed because it was “mis-branded” and did not come from a doctor or with dosing instructions,
The weird thing is is that she got the package, it wasn’t confiscated. Were they just trying to scare her? She found on the Internet that others that ordered from India didn’t receive their drugs or only partial orders.
The damn Deep State. “You will die from Covid whether you like it or not.’
I want to order some. Is it illegal to order?
The substance Ivermectin is legally sold over the counter for animal use.
Is there a federal mandate to confiscate ivermectin?
I doubt there is any law against humans consuming any product made for animals, but if there is, they would have to catch you eating it to prove it isn't for one of your animals.
This sounds a highly illegal attempt to intimidate citizens with no basis in law, but probably they know normal consumers don't have the cash reserve to fight it in Court.
It is a prescription medication, don't spread this nonsense. You cannot order prescription medication without a prescription and importing it from another country is a crime. Yes you can get veterinary ivermectin without an rx.
It's a prescription medication in the U.S. (Human variety) It is sold over the counter in India and Singapore. That is where it is being shipped from, so I don't know if this complies in the U.S.
It's still a prescription medication in the United States. India's and Singapore's laws don't apply in the United States. Buying prescription drugs from another country on the internet and possessing then without a valid prescription from a US certified Dr is illegal, even if it's not some controlled substance.
