The military runs everything, but it may choose to allow certain people to keep their office until they threaten the military goals. IE, we allowed the Japanese govt to continue, but not the military of Japan.
That confuses me. I thought the military was at odds with one another. Does Trump have control over all branches?
Yes, he does.
At any time he can veto anything, issue any law, hire or fire anyone, since DC is compromised.
He could even allow the theater of politics to continue.
