Merry Christmas frens.
Each day between now and New Years Eve, I will be creating two threads, One will be for a secular favorite, and one for a holy carol. I will title each thread with name of the song, and link in the first post, what I consider to be a fantastic version of that specific song.
Today's Holy song is:
Carol of the Bells by Hillsong Church UK
Please post a link to your favorite version of this song as a reply.
Please post your suggestions for future songs in this project HERE

Yes, I am familiar with that arrangement... great version!
Oh man I REALLY liked that, especially the underlying chords in the B section. I wish I knew enough music theory to recognize what kind of scales they were following right there... it wasn't jazz and it wasn't blues. Something a lot more ... theoretic.
I would LOVE to sing with that choir, though.
thank you for sharing.
you can find more of them on YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify, etc...
their "Mary did you know" is amazing. it has brought tears to me eyes on occasion
Great. Mary did You Know is going to come up closer the the actual nativity day. If I miss them ... please add their version there, just like you did here.
POWERFUL all low strings Orchestra by Reedy School district Combined Orchestras
I would love to hear that professionally recorded
No doubt, but it wouldn't surprise me if that arrangement was actually composed by that very director. You don't get an Orchestra Teacher position in a single school district and grow your class that big without some above and beyond stuff in your skill set.
My high school band director sure had it and he arranged all of our halftime shows from scratch. REAL teaching there for sure.
a little more traditional by Handbell Quartet,
By a Boys Choir in a Mass
Carol of the Bells by Cast in Bronze
