No, that's not empowerment; that's abortion, which is murder. You could say something empowered the woman to abort. That empowerment would come from sin and badness. What if the woman was empowered not to abort? That would be coming from love and goodness. Even in the case where the the mother's life is at risk, I believe everything must be done to save the child and her, even if it takes something experimental. But back to empowerment.
Empowerment: 1 : the act or action of empowering someone or something : the granting of the power, right, or authority to perform various acts or duties 2 : the state of being empowered to do something : the power, right, or authority to do something
It seems that the word empowerment has also been corrupted by the left, same as the word gay and many others. I don't view the word abortion as being the same thing as the word miscarriage, either; one is intentional and the other one isn't. Let's get back to claiming our language and words from them.
Right in your definition what are you empowered to do that I can't. The only thing empowered means to gender/women studies is abortion. Other than that, you seem to think you don't have the same power as a man, and in fact you don't. You as an empowered woman must laugh every time you see a 90lb bimbo beat up a man, you know it just can't happen. I laugh every time I see a man break another women's record and the empowered women think it stunning and brave.
