This is the obvious question, but it's just a bit too obvious. The White House isn't run sloppy-like, it's run on a tax budget by alert people who don't mess up major stuff by accident. This was not accidental and not just we'll-git-to-it-when-we-got-time. This is very like the denial of the AF1 call sign (in US airspace) to biden. Both are clearly telling us that Joe ain't it. So who is it? DJT remains President. My current read of the situation is that this current "term" will not be counted against the two-terms limit for him and he will be elected again in '24. Not sure of the mechanics of it but that is my intuitive gathering of a complex situation.
