A few things.
It requires you to create an account using your phone number.
I've not experienced any increase in abuse of my phone number after intensely using telegram over the past year.
It's been extremely useful in connecting with other awake people in my town, in my state, etc, and networking together to build real-world community that comes together and supports each other in the fight against the Globalists Cabal on a local level.
Its under much less surveillance than the more popular platforms like normies use, such as facebook, twiffer and stuff. It seems to be very private, although one has to remember that NOTHING is unreadable by the 'authorities' if they really want to surveil. They already have 100% access to your phone, if they want.
I believe it was created by a russian dude. It is developing with more features as time goes on.
It's become indispensable for a LOT of the freedom movements around the globe, in Aus, NZ, Europe, etc.
There's no censorship - its being used to network by those who fight the Cabal - so why is it NOT being shut down? Is it being protected? It's NOT benefitting the deep state or the cabal, as evidenced by their increasing attacks on telegram.
I use it but mostly just read and learn. I post when interested. This and 8kun are my go to for news
