I think you are correct.
This means that DC will soon be "nuked". This is because the DS must cover their tracks, and distract from their impending defeat.
DO NOT BELIEVE the "Russia! Russia! Russia!" narrative surrounding this event. Russia has ZERO reason to nuke DC.
It is also possible that this "nuke" of DC will be fake... similar to the "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast on steroids. This will allow DC - above and below ground - to be a battlefield, and probably completely destroyed on purpose.
Fake or not... this will be dark times in US. Babylon will fall in an hour. The US will never be the same.
