NY Pede and MAGA-man here. This bit of tyrannical garbage was mentioned to us at the Local Precinct Committee meeting last week. Practically everyone was shocked when they heard about it at the meeting, so the issue was flying under everyone's radar for practically everyone, until now.

First thing you all can do to help us is to make sure everyone is aware of this. Awareness of a problem is the first step in solving a problem.
