Anyone else notice this? The liquor store is separate and the same. I'm normally sick of it by now, but now I realize I haven't really heard any to speak of.

I was hoping your answer was going to be: repetitious announcements to wear a mask and wash my hands. I can dream can't I?
Only Christians celebrate Christmas. Everyone else is celebrating the equinox or some commercialized Hallmark holiday.
Christmas music playing in the background may have a negative effect on customers because of reactance or feeling manipulated into doing something. It's the same thing that happens when the media tries to force a narrative down your throat and you automatically rebuke it before you have all the facts. There needs to be more studies on this, but the theory is interesting. I'm not anti-Christmas, but when I hear All I Want For Christmas by Mariah Carey, I hurry my pace up so I can leave quickly haha.

Since you said Publix, there's a high chance you're in Florida, and I noticed my local one doesn't even have the usual cinnamon brooms out, and considering it's still in the high seventies here, it's really doing a bah humbug number on me. I guess nobody's got extra cheer here.
It seemed a little oppressive, actually.
Neg 12 here but it may warm up to 5 tommorrow
Come to think of it, I haven’t heard any either. I did hear an entire announcement all in Spanish at a Home Depot. Can’t tell you what it said, as the only words I understood was “Home Depot”. Mind you this was in an area of about 1% Hispanic population.
I was in a Food Lion today and no Christmas music.
...but we have this
Which is not part of any cannon I'm aware of, so just trolling.
