Merry Christmas frens.
Each day between now and New Years Eve, I will be creating two threads, One will be for a secular favorite, and one for a holy carol. I will title each thread with name of the song, and link in the first post, what I consider to be a fantastic version of that specific song.
Today's Holy song is:
The First Noel by BYU Noteworthy
Please post a link to your favorite version of this song as a reply.
The First Noel by The Mormon Tabernacle Choir
The First Noel by Simply Three
The First Noel by Gamz Kalimba
The First Noel by Brass Quintet ... SOOOOOO many of these carols have a beautiful version by the Salvation Army Brass Band... I mean breathtaking, but... not this year.
The First Noel by Handbell Quartet
***Once again Pentatonix could have been included in this post, but they will not see clicks from me ever again, nor will they ever again rent any space on my posts. This is due to them using their platform and their fame to push for vaccines. Yes they actually wrote published a pro-vaccine song... fools. They went woke, and I hope that they go broke.
Too bad about Pentatonix…such talent, but they ruined it for me, too. I stand with you on your decision to exclude them.
Btw, your posts have been delightful as well as uplifting; much appreciated.

Those of us who learned these songs before even 8-track tapes, know the warmth of the vinyl groove, no?
