I’ve been intending to post about this for a couple months but never had an appropriate place and certainly not an observation I felt worth it’s own post… I came over right after voat shut down. There has been a gradual change here after things peaked after inauguration. To me it feels like we lost many of the real anons(doing deep research) over the summer. There is way less research today, albeit fewer numbers still providing good information. The board has become a news feed which is not all negative, but in my opinion, too much reference to MSM articles. I also lurk on 8kun and spend about an hour each day reviewing daily posts. I believe their traffic is much higher than here but there is a lot of bullshit over there. A ton of shills and meaningless dribble but still has valuable content. (Just have to sift through a lot more to find it). They have debates about similar issues over there but difficult to determine if you don’t have the skills to evaluate user history). Shills aside, the real anons have been “quieter” than they were. Not sure if they have gone someplace else or staying quiet for other reasons. There appears to be fewer people in general here but that’s less hard to figure out
