Look at #7. This is the core of the problem. These lunatics in DC are not being faithful to their oaths, not even close, and we are allowing them to get away with it because they hold onto or manipulate the levers of power.
I'm an atheist, but I get what you're saying and understand you impulse to feel this way. However, faith isn't just about religion. We have faith that these people will hold true to their oaths of office. That trust and faith has been broken... REPEATEDLY.
