So I would like to start by saying that I'm a 25 year old male who works in Austin as in Amazon delivery driver. Aside from the corporate bullshit and dressing like a stooge, it's actually a sweet gig. I technically do not work for Amazon and for a smaller independent company but Amazon has enormous power over us.
So I start to shoot the shit with a few co-workers who I had no idea even thought similar thoughts to me. At first we somehow landed on Johnny Bravo, the old cartoon show, and how he would get canceled in this retarded day and age. We all agreed and said how we can't be funny anymore either because everything is offensive. Then we start talking about how Amazon actually sucks cock and balls and how we would rather be a purely independent courier. Proceeded to call them a bunch of Godless pussies too. And then finally we all concurred that covid was bullshit manufactured by the government to sell more vaccines. Made my heart swell that I found some people with common fucking sense.
Just a tiny side note: I'm white and nearly everyone else in the group was black and one Hispanic. People are more based than they think.
Does your van have Amazon GPS tracking or does the subcontractor avoid that?
They do track us but idk if it's just the contractor or Amazon too. We don't answer to corporate directly at all, only our bosses who are all cool people. Ex military, mechanics, and such.
Random question. When you deliver do you take lefts?
Not gaslighting - this is a 100% logistical question from a systems analyst that dables in route transit inquiry and got ahold of some UPS logistical studies a for few years ago.
EDIT: my lord I am such an autist.
