I am happy he did this, caught the bad guy, beat him a bit, and returned the purse. Indeed, give the citizen an award, and thanks by the public. He has my thanks.

Nice kicks to the face, (deserved) and a punch or two (also deserved) while he was on the ground? Love it. I'm fine with a little non-lethal public justice being handed out to scumbags like that. Love. It.

But. Can.You. Imagine. If the skin colors were reversed? And a white dude tackled some a black kid, kicked him a few times on the ground, threw a few punches at someone not fighting back and "just trying to get away for a better life"... What the news cycle would do with that joyous gift of potential ratings?

Within 30 SECONDS... You would hear the sonic boom from Al Sharpton's plane passing over head to the local airport, the crash of pallets of bricks being delivered to the store's adjacent lot, and the local DA (male or female) would spontaneously sprout an erection without understanding why...
