Quite Right. I might add we should always be wary of the biblical translation for better understanding. Reading just the English in the Bible may not be enough. Rather, use multiple Bible sources and use a lexicon to find the original Greek word for the English. In this case a question was raised if the mark of the beast was 'on' the right hand or forehead or was ''in' the right hand or forehead. Some Bibles use 'on' and others say 'in'. I thought this was important to find out because one definition avers to an implantable device. So I went to a Bible Lexicon and looked up the original Greek word used in Rev. 13:16 for 'on'. The Greek word for 'on' is 'epi' (G1909), which means (1) upon, on, at, by, before (2) of position, on, at, by, over, against (3) to, over, on, at, across, against. This provides greater insight to the meaning. The strongest case for the English word is 'on' or 'at', which appears in all three definitions. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that it is 'on' or 'at' the right hand or 'on' or 'at' their forehead, but it could be 'over', 'across', 'by', or even 'before' and 'against' the right hand or their forehead. However, the Greek word 'epi' doesn't specifically state it means 'in' as in some versions of the bible. So, why would some Bibles have this incorrect translation?

Actually, this case study provides a better context to the possibilities of what the mark could be. In other words, anything that looks like it could be the mark, whether it is 'on', 'at', 'over', 'across', 'before', and even 'against' the right hand or forehead should raise considerable alarm, like we are currently seeing for this possibility right now. I don't believe many people will figure out what the mark of the beast precisely is until they are confronted with it in a state of duress, coercion, and terrible oppression. They will not be prepared and it will be overwhelmed by its rapid deployment. Others will recognize it because anything that resembles its possibility will avoid it well in advance. They will have already prepared for that time to hide themselves for their survival.
