See? This is part of what I LOVE about this community. Those who know are willing to teach, without belittling the "unawareness" of others.
It may seem like a small thing but - to me - it is a sign of the Kingdom of God. Yes, I honestly believe that. The Kingdom of Heaven has come near.
When someone doesn't have the information or context that we have, that person may be "vulnerable", relative to ourselves. If they ask for information - and we share - we may have enabled that person to more fully participate. In a sense, we have made the "unaware" person stronger. Taking no credit for ourselves, we strengthen the whole community.
To me, this is part of the reason this forum is SO necessary; and is part of why we MUST be gracious with honest questions. I want new-bies (Hi, Neo!) to be unafraid to ask. I want Anons to be unafraid to share (GBY, Trinity! THANK YOU, dear Morpheus!).
May God in Christ Jesus bless us all with willingness and wisdom. I SO VERY MUCH admire our wonderful Anons, our precious MODS (YAYYYY!), and our honest, searching new-comers. The sleeper is awakening.
