I'm sure the majority of folks in NY truly want these to become law. Right? I mean, that IS what Democracy is all about. Right? It's not like elected representatives would ever pass such a law against the will of their constituents... right?

Oh. Nevermind. I forgot we no longer live in a Democratically operated country, but a monolithic Draconian machine that churns out corrupt officials and consumes accountability to continue operating.
