I have no idea why Trump is doing this, I don't like it, I'm struggling with this after the last five years of watching him do everything he could to fight against the deep state.

Trump is giving everyone a voice for the first time, in a very long time. The question is, how do you unite the world who have been lied to and divided for decades? How would you get people who are so fixated and divided on liberal vs conservative to finally fight together?

If it was this option- to tarnish him briefly in his own supporter's eyes, or accept that political toxicity to the left (anti-vax) would preclude him from ever being accepted in some quarters as future leader, which would you choose? Satisfaction in the moment, or a potential long term solution?
