Led by Millennials and Gen Z, generations with a predisposition to be fatalistic, Omicron parties are sweeping across the globe. And a new favorite expression has popped up among them, “We are the cure.”

Losing faith in the ineffective vaccines and harsh government countermeasures, have pushed a sense of grim determination to bring the pandemic to an end now. Being younger and healthier they are now idealistically embracing that the responsibility to achieve herd immunity falls on their shoulders and can only be done by actually catching the virus.

Omicron is being seen as the right variant at the right time to achieve the goal.

***Sorry for engaging in a little fiction. Talking to people who are turning against the covid narrative, people I though would never wake up, find myself believing this will happen if Biden announces new restrictions today.

This is how we did it back in the day for chicken pox. Parents would have parties to get all the kids infected at an early age so they would recover and have life long immunity. Getting chicken pox as an adult is very dangerous and can lead to death but as a very young child it's very easy to fight. Entire Amish community had covid, got over it, and now have full immunity without using any drugs.
