Considering that Nikola Tesla died in 1943, and it was in the 1942-1946 range that Robert Oppenheimer proposed the idea of Quantum Tunneling, while working on the Top Secret Manhattan Project, you are probably correct.

It's a cartoon, that does an incredible job explaining the how/why and "wtf" is going on when we get into the sub-atomic realms. I think it will blow your mind.
