Also..on the topic of smiling. Even if you’re having a shitty day, force yourself to smile even if you don’t want to. The muscle memory triggers brain to react and you do feel a little better even though nothing has changed. I heard it in some psych paper thought it was bs but when I went through some depressing times it really did have an impact. Enough to give me energy to change the ship around. Not in one day. But culmulatively in a positive direction little bit every day.
