You can always sell short instead of using options that expire worthless if you take the wrong bet. I’ve lost a lot betting against FB and Twitter because I hate them and want them to fall. I think the sweet spot strike price is around 40$ and will cost you around 20$ per share of the option = 2,000$ per option.
