I only bring it up because I saw a podcast mention it and I immediately thought "dog comms," but I will be honest I'm not quite sure what it could mean.

Does anyone have any guesses? Or is this a nothing-burger?

I reckon Major was Kamala (didn't socialise well, biting issues, alienated and ostracised recently- given away- strings/leash cut)

Dunno on the new one, hoping it's a DJT sleeper on a leash in the senate.
