Amen fren. He does some excellent work and it is a shame that for some honestly petty reasons his work is marginalized.

When Beck was at his height as a public figure, I could see people were desperate for a savior type leader. That worried me because that is exactly how Hitlers and other despotic types come to power. Beck neither wanted the responsibility of a leader nor did he promote himself as that person. He just wanted the audience to spread the awakening of what the DS was up to. The public however wanted to make him the face off a growing populist movement. Eventually, I think the pressure of it all, including the unwanted vicious targeting that came with all the attention, was more than he could handle. He and his family have had time to reorient and recover from the hell that had become their lives. He will not allow himself to be driven by others into directions he does not want to go. He just wants to do his research and would rather leave the spotlight to people like Trump that thrive in all the attention.
