One of the key features of this apparent 5th evolution is that instead of attacking deep down in the human lungs (you can thank the mice that had the humanised lung tissue experiment done on them before the CV was constructed in UNC/WIV) it mainly attaches higher up in the throat and back of the mouth, which leads to less severe outcomes, or as we used to call it "a cold".
