White Christmas is our all time favorite Christmas movie. Coincidencedentally our other favorite classic film, Casablanca was directed by the same man, Michael Curtiz. So different... a classic drama and a musical! What a talented director!
Since you love Frank Capra films try to check out. "It Happened On 5th Avenue" . A sweet film slated to be directed by Cara but then "it's a Wonderful Life" came along and there was a scheduling conflict. Really sweet movie with great character actors.
Familiar with each of those films! We have a huge sweet spot for the entire era. Working through teaching the kids real film now and it’s - taking. Hearing my oldest daughter say things like “Wow - these characters & how the story is told just sucks me in now.” When she talks about Pocket Full of Miracles makes this Dad smile.
Aaawww... I love this experience with your kiddos! Great childhood memories! Classic film is the best! Love that sweet Damon Runyon film! Lots of teachable moments in the theme of "doing kindness for others" in these films.
