The common explanation of why DJT is supporting the vaccine is to make the NPC's question the vax. This does not seem to be happening at all. They are all saying he is being "presidential." His stance will not save a single NPC to become anti-vax, as they are all already double or triple vaxxed already. At this time, his support will push some of his supporters who are on the fence to get vaccinated.

I do believe there will be a moment coming up where Trump and hundreds of vaccine advocates suddenly suddenly exclaim "OMG! The newest revelations show the vaccine is DEADLY. I am so sorry. I did not know this!"

An abrupt conversion will really get the attention of the vaxxed. If Trump had been anti-vax shortly after leaving office, his comments would have dismissed as being political and fall upon deaf ears.

Also, in order to maximize the world's anger towards the vaccine industry, the left and the NPC's must have a satisfactory target for their outrage.
