Merry Christmas frens.
Each day between now and New Years Eve, I will be creating two threads, One will be for a secular favorite, and one for a holy carol. I will title each thread with name of the song, and link in the first post, what I consider to be a fantastic version of that specific song.
Today's Holy song is:
O Holy Night by Lucy & Martha Thomas
When I was little my father would always solo this song at church in the Christmas Eve service. I would give anything to have a recording of him singing. My mother says I have the same voice as my dad. I sing to her and with her often.
Please post a link to your favorite version of this song as a reply.
O Holy Night by Jonathan Antoine (from Britians got Talent)
O Holy Night by Home Free
O Holy Night by Carrie Underwood
O Holy Night by West Point Band
O Holy Night by Jodi Arias accused killer in Maricopa County Jail
One of my absolute favorites!
Read that last one as Darryl Strawberry. (Wha??)
Country singer who unfortunately is no longer with us. You may be familiar with this ("I Let Her Lie") from way back when, or have heard his version of "I Never Go Around Mirrors."
Great stuff in there. Thanks srb
Thank you and Bless you.
That was the first time I ever learned of the history.
