but that's just me. .. He's fighting an actual information war and they're whining about his rhetoric? Piss off.

If we can't be critical of our own side, we're no different than the other.
I disagree with Trump's stance on the vaccine, although I'm open to the mindset that he's saying what he's saying and doing what he's doing for a reason. He hasn't directly addressed the underlying issue, he glosses over the fact that they want to implement hard lockdowns. When it comes to athletes in their prime dying "under mysterious circumstances" he ignores it, he also ignores the fact that most COVID infections are mild/symptomless so the vaccine shouldn't be necessary save for what it was originally argued for: people with multiple comorbidities. He also has not addressed the fact that the vaccine doesn't stop the virus from spreading, or infecting vaccinated people.
I disagree with Trump's cohorts that are against 1A, specifically what Torba brought up regarding Trump approaching Gab in June of 2021 and demanding they make changes to their policies to add "hate speech". Torba declined and went on the offensive and Trump joined Rumble... the day after Rumble added "hate speech" to their terms. If Truth Social has similar wordings, I will join it only to get myself banned as a middle finger to censorship. Fuck "hate speech" fuck "hate crimes", and fuck anyone that gets butthurt over insulting words and relies on censorship for the answer.
Those are probably the two big weaknesses from my perception.
That being said, I am loyal, but I also think a good leader will listen to his followers and a good follower will be willing to advise their leader when they are about to step on a land mine. It's the leader's prerogative to make the call, even if unpopular. That is the foundation of leadership, be it business, or a country.
Being critical =/= dooming.
