You really think a reality exists in which Trump would have been able to completely avoid giving a stance on the vaccines this entire time?
Strawman argument. A really tired one. The problem isn't with him not "completely avoiding" discussion. It's that he pushed it, unprompted, at all of his rallies and on all conservative media. Just read this quote, it's sickening.
"I would recommend it and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don't want to get it and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly," "It is a great vaccine. It is a safe vaccine and it is something that works," "It works incredibly well. 95%, maybe even more than that...and it is really saving our country and it is saving frankly the world."
When you say "we" who exactly does that extend to? Because a lot of people in red states work for companies which are mandating it. Those companies perhaps are run by Trump supporters, who wouldn't be so empowered if Trump wasn't pushing for them.
The problem there is you’re quoting from Fox News, which is msm and fake news. That’s not evidence he said those things—but it is evidence he never said those things. I bet you won’t find OAN or RSBN with those quotes.
You must be joking. I heard it with my own ears, you can find videos all over the place. Were you watching his rallies? At CPAC he literally said "everybody go get your shot"
Yes I'm well aware he said that. Which brings us to another point of contention. Does POTUS actually have the awareness we suspect he should? Regarding the fact that an unjustifiable amount of adverse reactions are being produced for vaccines which have demonstrated rapidly decreasing efficacy and thus should be unjustifiable to even have allowed to continue rolling them out.
Either A) he's completely oblivious and hasn't taken any initiative to actually examining the results of this mass vaccination program, or B) he knows very well the damage its causing and is happy to push it because he has been a part of the swamp all along, or C) he is playing the long game here and understands game theory on a level we couldn't begin to contemplate and knows very well that there will be casualties as a consequence of his words.
