Out of the blue, my dad’s blood oxygen / saturation improved to the point that he was released from the covid ward, and the hospital itself! We thought for sure that he would be stuck there over the holidays, but God answered prayer and got him out one hour ago! Thank you everyone for your prayers and words of encouragement. God is so good. Merry Christmas everyone!!

I'm sure the freezing cold water lowering the body temperature and reducing it's metabolic rate had nothing to do with it.
I went to ICU twice for near drowning. The second time, I consider it a miracle that I was found at all.
It was nite. The pool was dark. When I went in, I was in pool in Atlanta apt. complex, where I was staying while away in a training class, all alone.
I use to hold my breath for around 5 minutes. The mistake I made twice, is when I did it after drink a lot of whiskey, and it caused me to pass out under water from the oxygen turning into carbon monoxide.
Well here I was in the dark pool, passed out on the bottom of the pool. Someone else came along, dived in the pool, and ran into me on the bottom. They dragged me out of pool, and next thing I remember is the EMTs beside me.
When I awoke I was fighting like mad to get away from the Russian that shot my plane down, and were trying to take me to the gulag lol. Just before I went to the pool, I had been watching Clint Eastwood movie Firefox. That's crazy man!
Maybe some, but she had alcohol and possible drugs in her system but still I believe it to be a miracle
