Out of the blue, my dad’s blood oxygen / saturation improved to the point that he was released from the covid ward, and the hospital itself! We thought for sure that he would be stuck there over the holidays, but God answered prayer and got him out one hour ago! Thank you everyone for your prayers and words of encouragement. God is so good. Merry Christmas everyone!!

I wonder why they didn’t kill him?
Just kidding I’m a covid nurse at the hospital right now. Aside from letting them keep their ivermectin I just offered pain meds, cough syrup, I held a bag for vomit from coughing so much and ran in rooms when oxygen drops so they don’t have a cardiac arrest.
I’m also a devout Christian. I’ll let you be paranoid that nurses turned into evil in the last two years.
It helps to read this honestly. You can get overwhelmed as a non medical professional and get scared about certain hospital protocols, for me it's only because we're not allowed to be there and it's awful hear the fear and sadness when speaking to a family member... you're just terrified you don't have eyes on and it goes against everything in your maternal instinct. I was just so convinced I'd adequately prepared myself and family and couldn't believe it hit so hard. It's been a real wake up call TBH. Thank you for your work.
