This movie was released on Christmas Eve on Netflix and I just watched it and I'm blown away by the blatant symbolism. There is a threat (a comet aka covid) and the gov/media divides the people into comet believers vs. the anti-comet believers. Sound familiar? The independent scientists who spoke up were "taken off grid" aka the censorship we've seen in real life. Their (gov/cabal/corporation) answer to fight the threat ended up failing in the end, and the silenced scientists ended up being correct all along. There's even a hair-sniffing character that looks and acts similar to Biden. The fact that this message is coming out of Hollywood is amazing, yet confusing.
They totally missed the mark then because I think it was supposed to be about “climate crisis” and how it seems like nobody cares the world is ending in 9 or 12 years. The irony is that they act like the climate alarmists are the ones who are censored, when in reality the opposite is true. That’s hilarious if it actually mirrors the Covid hysteria instead.
