After more than 6 hours of her in the hospital and us unable to contact her or get any updates we got one. I know she knows remdesivir is bad! But they gave her that and something new called olumiant i don't like the sound of it though. I guess shes been pretty much unconscious/asleep They did say they're going to wean her off cpap tomorrow and if it goes well will send her home. Thanks for the prayers earlier folks i really they're working to get her back to us quickly. Ill update you tomorrow

Fren you need to get her off the Remdesivir asap. I hope she gets out real soon.
Yes, get her out of the hosp. asap, really. And NO VENTS.
I want to get her out but I have no way to give her oxygen support. The only reason we called was she was blue and couldn't stand up
That's really bad. Everyone should own a pulse oximeter. If your oxygen drops below 90 you're hypoxic and need to be taken to the hospital. You should know which ones will adhere to your request for no remdesivir. That's really the only protocol still in use I know of that universally doesn't do shit but destroy kidneys.
Best I had was a smart watch with a oximeter it never said she went below 97 though and it was pretty obvious she needed o2 support. And there wasn't much choice for hospitals and unfortunately in ny there doesn't seem to be any that don't just follow the cdc protocol. Only update I have now is they failed to wean her off earlier and say she has copd which I already knew. She should have 02 at home already but has been too stubborn to get it
They stopped using ventilators. High Flow Nasal Cannula works far far better.
Does your mother have rheumatoid arthritis?

It's something new they're using now. No she doesn't have rheumatoid arthritis. She isn't calling us and we still can't get ahold of her
Well from I skimmed it "blocks the activity of certain enzymes involved in activating inflammation in the body." It might reduce the severity of a Cytokine Storm. I haven't heard enough about it.
Continued prayers for her recovery, fren!
I take Olumiant. Why did they give her a JAKS autoimmune disease drug?
It was approved last week. I'm not sure why she let them she is alert/awake enough to say no
