It's actually time to abolish government-run or -funded education, period.
Just sayin'.
But yes, as long as money is being forcibly taken from me to forcibly "educate" the children of others, I'd prefer it have SOME hope in hell of having a positive outcome for the slave-children.
Or one better. Abolish it all and start fresh. The whole system is corrupt to the core. FDA, CDC, FBI.... The list goes on and on. Can't believe how people can't see this shit. All I see these days are lies from the establishment. Desperate attempts to "convince" the public with their mockingbird bs.

If you're talking about abolitionism -- abolishing ANY coercive government, including coercive taxation, which ALWAYS and without fail grows into a corrupt tyranny because coercion is a CRIME -- then I'm with you. Regulation by civil society (Underwriter Labs, etc) works so much better than the FDA and other "regulatory agencies" it's stunning. Same for everything else that people actually need or want to have done, including defense.
Check out The Market for Liberty for an excellent and very persuasive read on why getting rid of government's enslavement of people is even more important than ending chattel slavery of the 1800s (and earlier) was. The same arguments against ending THAT slavery are still being used against ending government enslavement of citizens.

back about 61/62 I had teacher that told us that teaching wasn't gong to be a profession much because it would be run by the teachers unions he said it would become apparent when our grand children got to learn from the teachhers being brainwashed by the unions with the govt that teacher was , a wwII veteran

Steve Mnuchin made a powerful presentation at a cabinet meeting about realigning everything. Said every Cabinet position’s area of responsibility INCLUDED their own internal DOE. He wanted them shuttered and condensed into one agency under the Dept of Labor. Sooooo many “stakeholders” on our children’s brains, bodies, hearts. Government schools should absolutely be abolished/locally restructured and accountable to the citizens paying for it. Take a look at the past 20 years, how topheavy is your local district in admin/aides/specialty teachers, etc? Ridiculous! NOT education. More like a huge Social Services Agency that not only baby-sits, feeds and disciplines (ha) your children, but fills them full of conveniently written truths to expel onto the nation. And the “end product” is flawed; anxious, in debt, biting the hand that feeds. I predict public schools will fail. Bigly. Because WE will have to make that happen to fix them! FEDERAL FUNDING into our schools, with the accompanying “guidelines” that must be followed to get it.....start there!

Abolish all unions. They are as crooked as our government.
Let's not destroy a structure with virtue. Let us hold the structure in respect. Remove all barriers for quick changes to the administration. Burn the hands of all the private policy indoctrination. What a disgusting parasite to begin with. But keep all the Private boys school. They do wonder.
Long past time to abolish them.
