"Evading the facts of reality all your life" is not a sin. Sympathy would be good, but empathy as in "put yourself in her shoes" would be nice too.

Yeah, it is. It’s the #1 sin and the precursor to all other sins. You only ‘think’ otherwise because you get your opinion on sin from the Bible, I assume.
