I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this, but it’s mildly infuriating.
I know of someone who was spending the holidays with their significant other’s family, and was sharing that one of the SO’s siblings tested positive for the ‘Rona about a week ago. They’re all vaccinated, all masking, following the blue state’s advice, etc.
Less than two days after that sibling’s positive test, they were out at the movies having a grand old time while expecting the unvaccinated without any kind of ‘Rona contact to be barred from public places.
Which made me wonder if the CDC/NY/other states are lessening quarantine for vaccinated people not only as an incentive to the unvaccinated, but to increase transmission.
The mental gymnastics of living with a confirmed positive, vaccinated person, going out to live your life, then demanding others who don’t have the vaccine to be forced to stay at home and quarantine are breathtaking.
I get your point. They can go out as long as they flash their proof of vaccination, regardless of if they tested positive, while unvaxxed wont be allowed to access some establishments even if we never had covid. Pretty stupid if you ask me.
