I just got an email from a local non-profit saying they are closed until January 15th due to staffing shortages. And, everywhere I look... same thing... "now hiring" .
Some people are home because they are quarantined, but, that many? No way.
Perhaps the workforce has shrunk because some fear working and being exposed to covid?
Or because they are making more money via unemployment?
Or because they had to quit or get the jab, and they chose to quit?
Other reasons? What is going on? The lack of employees everywhere is very concerning... it's just resulting in more division. I wish I had a solution.
im in the position of looking for a building to buy and setup my business in, and i am coming to the harsh reality of "holy shit buildings are fucking expensive"
all i can think is how has anyone ever afforded buying buildings in my position. Ive got decent credit but still get denied for mortgages left and right, which further begs the question, how the hell are people getting mortgages on homes when I cant seem to make any headway whatsoever. i was trying to move to florida for the better part of 8 months, but kept even getting denied for leases because my credit history isnt long enough. so im stuck in Bama
Fuck the Banks, this system is so difficult to get into when starting out with nothing. I make good money, 71k/yr, and I cant do shit with it! I've gone so far as showing a homeowner my bank account after they denied me for not long enough credit history and they still didnt care, wouldnt rent to me...
