I found the part about Joe "Big Guy" Biden owning the island may be incorrect, but the rest seemed correct. Water island is only 80 acres if I remember correctly, and James Biden owned a section on it that he later sold. Joe Biden did stay on Water Island on at least one occasion overnight.
Much of this info is harder to find now than it was 3 years ago.
