Public school kids have cell phones, watch porn, are picking out their pronouns on sixth grade. Some come from stable, two parent families, others do not. Your kids are with those kids and the teachers for 8 hours a day.
Homeschool kids are with other kids in the family, if they have siblings(another reason to have more than one if you can), hang out on play dates and at homeschool co-op with other homeschool kids, can get lessons (sports, art, music) during the week, and know how to interact with people of all ages, types...they are in stores w you, grocery shopping, running errands, and have much better manners and can talk to adults. I found public school segregation by birth year to be an aberration in socialization...
